Halloween is an annual holiday observed on October 31.500 BC ago, living in Ireland and Scotland, people believed that ghosts on October 31st came back to the place where they were alive, looking for the opportunity to regenerate. People worried about ghosts to take their own lives. When the October 31 comes, in order to not let ghost find them. People would turn all the lights off,and disguised themselves as a ghost to frighten ghosts.
As time goes by, Halloween is today largely a secular celebration.The significance of Halloween gradually becomes a celebration festival.Now the symbol of the devil and pictures like such as monsters, witch, pumpkin become lovely and wicked.
All people, that day try their best to dress themselves up as ghost, making Halloween more interesting. Halloween pumpkins will be lifted in every family and children will be given candy infinitely. Because of Candy, Halloween is one of the favorite festivals for children.
Common Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, committing pranks, telling ghost stories or other frightening tales, and watching horror films.
